March

Hope Challenge (Eleuthera) March 1-3, 2024 -The Bahamas Hope Challenge is not a competitive race, but rather a gathering of individuals who choose to cycle, run, or walk at their own pace and distance while collecting donations from loved ones. The minimum fundraising amount for adults is $500, while youth participants must raise at least $250. The main goal of the event is to support Bahamians battling cancer and improve their chances of recovery, making it a worthwhile cause for all.

Wine & Food Festival (Paradise Island) March 13-17th 2024 - NPIWFF LogoThe largest culinary festival in Bahamian history, held over days will showcase the talents of the world’s most renowned wine and spirits producers, chefs, and culinary personalities, all at an unforgettable destination, Atlantis. This extravaganza will feature world-class chefs with a stellar line-up of dinners, tastings, demos, and more.

   Bahamian Music Music and Heritage Festival (Exuma)March 14-16 2024 The annual Bahamian Music and Heritage Festival is an exciting time for the whole family, with lots of activities for kids and adults: storytelling, singing, poetry reading, 'How to' demonstrations, contests involving sugar cane peeling, onion peeling, and conch cracking.

  Rock Sound Homecoming Festival (Eleuthera & Harbour Island) March 25- April 1, 2024 - Indulge in delightful cuisine and entertainment at this family event. Moreover, the funds raised from this occasion contribute to funding diverse initiatives and activities on the island.


James Cistern Heritage Homecoming (Eleuthera & Harbour Island) March 27 - April 1, 2024(All day) This event encourages locals and visitors to come out and enjoy delicious native dishes, desserts, live entertainment, and activities for the young and old.

Exuma Family Island Regatta  Apr 23-27, 2024 - The National Family Island Regatta showcases the finest examples of traditional Bahamian sloop sailing. Every year, during the last full weekend of April, boaters and sailors from across the Bahamas gather in Elizabeth Harbor, Exuma, to compete for the top honors in their respective categories. The event brings together the best boat builders and sailors to demonstrate the rich maritime heritage of the region.

Music Making Waves Concert (Paradise Island)April 27th 2024 - janet j Paradise Island has recently announced an exciting event for music enthusiasts – the Music Making Waves concert series. This year’s series will kick off with a captivating performance by Grammy award winner, Janet Jackson. The much-anticipated concert will take place at the Atlantis Paradise Island resort. Tickets are only sold through the Atlantis official website, and the Atlantis box office.

Bahamian Blues - Long Island Connection (Long Island) This Bahamian Band is filled with members of Long Island blood. Playing the soothing sounds of reggae, rake n' scrape, and calypso music you love.

Cancer Society of The Bahamas Annual Ball  May 25, 2024 - The 22nd annual ball provides an opportunity for ladies and gentlemen to don their finest attire and enjoy an evening of dancing, dining, and engaging conversation. The event serves a greater purpose, as funds raised from the event are used to support individuals in the community and educate the public about various types of cancers and available treatment options. It is not just a fun-filled evening, but also an opportunity for the community to come together and support a meaningful cause.

  Deep Creek Conch Festival (Eleuthera & Harbour Island) June 6-9, 2024 - Both residents and tourists can relish an assortment of delectable cuisine featuring our prized Bahamian conch. Pineapple Fest June 7-8, 2024 (Eleuthera) Eleuthera is renowned for producing the most succulent pineapples worldwide! Historically, the island was abundant in pineapple crops, which were exported globally. In the present day, pineapple farmers are dedicated to preserving and promoting the thriving pineapple industry on our island.

The annual Pineapple Festival is a commemoration and admiration of the hardworking farmers who relentlessly harvest our luscious and juicy pineapples, defying all odds. The festival brings together both locals and tourists to revel in each other's company while enjoying a variety of native cuisine, desserts, and beverages, all infused with the delicious fruit. McLean Conch Cracking Festival  Freeport Domestic and international visitors, enthusiastically vie for the coveted and authentically Bahamian designed conch trophy, awarded to the best Conch Cracker in the country.
