Anguilla

Approximately 16 miles East End to West End and 3 miles at its widest point, Anguilla is flat, low lying and comprised of coral and limestone, covered mostly with rock, sparse scrub oak, few trees and some salt ponds. One main road runs through the center of the island, making Anguilla easy to traverse by car in less than a half an hour. This British overseas territory, is not only rich in beauty but in history and culture. Anguilla is ideal for family fun travel as well for the adventure traveler who enjoys Regattas and Boat Races. The white, sandy beaches of Anguilla are used to launch many nautical dreams.

Annual St. Gerard’s Garden Party February 10th 2024.The yearly celebration takes place at the renowned St. Gerard's Catholic Church and the Wallblake House. Attendees can savor authentic dishes crafted by the congregation, accompanied by local music and lively dance performances. Delight in traditional cuisines representing diverse cultures, including those from Anguilla, Dominica, Trinidad, St. Kitts, and Jamaica, among other countries.

Moonsplash Music Festival - March 22nd - 24th2024.

Moonsplash Festival the latest edition of the festival on the horizon, there's a tangible excitement for what is poised to be a remarkable experience. Celebrating its 34th year, Moonsplash consistently attracts some of reggae's most prominent artists to the scenic shores of Anguilla, turning its beaches into the backdrop for an unparalleled beach party experience.

Festival del Mar March 27th-28th 2024 (Easter weekend) - One of the largest seafood festival in the Caribbean, Festival del Mar is held in Island Harbour during Easter weekend. It celebrates the island's maritime heritage and features boat races, fishermen competitions, seafood tastings, and live music.

Whit Monday and Welches Festival May 20th 2024 -   Fest is an annual gathering of local food vendors in Welches Village every Whit-Monday. This event serves as a platform to showcase cultural dishes and partake in cultural festivities. For older residents, it's a nostalgic experience, evoking memories of how our food was prepared in the past. Simultaneously, it introduces younger generations to the flavors cherished by their ancestors, fostering a connection to culinary traditions. Anguilla Day Celebrations May 30 2024

This national holiday commemorates the anniversary of the Anguillian Revolution in 1967, which marked a significant step toward self-determination for the island.
